PRODUZIONE

Metrological room operator, a figure responsible for dimensional and quality control of parts produced according to drawings from internal and external productions.

Main responsibilities:

• Use of measuring machine and dedicated software, operations management and machine tooling for control operations on mechanical parts according to the tolerances required in the drawing;
• Use of manual measuring instruments (micrometer, altimeter, roughness tester, comparator and buffers, johnson blocks, etc.);
• Perform dimensional and quality control of products during production, reporting any non-conformities ;
• Prepare and archive measurement reports and verify that the results are in line with the tolerances required by the project, use of dedicated software and company management to carry out these operations;
• Collaborate with the production department and design office to resolve any non-conformities, management of returns to suppliers with related documentation;
• Keep metrological instrumentation in good condition and follow calibration procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience, even brief, in metalworking environments or in quality / metrology;
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality control techniques;
• Ability to read technical drawings and dimensional tolerances;
• Precision, reliability and attention to detail;
• Good knowledge of IT tools and quality management software;
• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
